  • Their fitness to return to full duties with timescales
  • Any need for a phased return to work in terms of reduced hours or duties

Refer or discuss early in the employee’s sickness absence so that we can add value.

Please DON’T:
Leave referring until after the employee’s GP has said that the employee can return to work – weeks may have gone by and we will be able to add very little value.
